Ball Screw Drives
Ball screw drives combine a ball screw with a ball nut. From a standard ball screw with an axial clearance of max. 0.05 mm or a reduced clearance, to a preloaded ball screw—NEFF offers the full range of products. Preloaded ball screws are available either with ball selection or with double nut units with a ground distance ring. The NEFF ball screw range conforms to DIN69051 and to the NEFF standard. Ball screw drives are available with standard end machining or with customized end machining.
Trapezoidal Screw Drives
Trapezoidal screw drives combine a trapezoidal screw with a trapezoidal nut. NEFF’s rolled trapezoidal screw drives conform to DIN103. By rolling the trapezoidal screws we ensure very high strength and surface quality of the flanks, which together with the trapezoidal nuts, lead to extraordinary operating characteristics. Additionally, the trapezoidal screws are produced in a higher range of tolerance, resulting in norm-compliant trapezoidal screws with very low backlash, high straightness and pitch accuracy.
Sliding Drives
The NEFF sliding screw combines the ball screw with a plastic nut. The thread of the plastic nut is the negative profile of the corresponding ball screw. The result is a screw drive that combines the high pitches of the ball screw and the lower costs of the acme screw. Due to the material selection of the nut material (high-quality plastic), a lead screw drive can often be operated without lubrication.
Telescopic Screw Drives
The M-TEG multi-stage telescopic screw drives reach impressive lifting heights with extremely compact installation dimensions. With up to 7 stages, the user can combine different load ranges and installation conditions. Besides the standard connection for the screw’s bearing, connections for the NEFF screw jack series M, C, or G are also possible.
Actuator Screw Drives
The NEFF A-Series linear drive is a flexible and powerful solution for linear drive applications in mechanical engineering. The fully enclosed housing unit is equipped with robust axial and radial bearings and ensures low-maintenance, long-lasting operation thanks to permanent lubrication. Integrated pivot pins and swivel brackets allow for easy conversion to a swivel configuration if needed. In the basic configuration, the drive features a self-locking trapezoidal-threaded spindle with a running nut, as well as a drive shaft for mounting a suitable motor.
Screw Jacks
The various screw jack series differ in terms of power transmission and design. Most common are the worm gear screw jacks, which we offer both in the classic C-series design and the cubic M/J-series design. A high-performance series, the MH/JH-series, has been developed interchangeable for the M/J-series and is now available in six sizes. For higher dynamic requirements, the screw jacks of the G-series are available. These are characterized by high-quality bevel gears and are often supplied with ball screws.
